Field Construction Assistant

About this position Field Construction Assistant Roof Depot is hiring a Field Construction Assistant to support our Homebuilder Solutions team. This role is built for someone who wants to build a career in construction, take ownership in the field, and be part of a team focused on execution, quality, and accountability. What You Will Do Support daily field operations across active residential construction projects Work alongside Area Construction Managers and Field Construction Managers to keep projects on schedule Communicate with crews, suppliers, and builders to resolve issues and keep jobs moving Assist with quality control inspections and safety compliance Help manage material deliveries, shortages, returns, and job site logistics Track project progress from start to completion Support punch list completion, warranty items, and final walkthroughs Assist with material transportation and deliveries when needed What We Are Looking For Entry‑level candidates encouraged to apply Construction, roofing, siding, warehouse, delivery, or trade experience is a plus Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Reliable, dependable, and accountable Organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to climb ladders and walk roofs, including moderate slopes Able to lift up to 80 pounds Basic computer and smartphone skills Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Must meet company driver eligibility requirements Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review Must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screening What You Get Clear career path to Field Construction Manager Hands‑on experience in residential construction and project management Training and mentorship from experienced leaders Stable company with long‑term growth opportunities Competitive pay and career advancement opportunities Team focused on execution, accountability, quality, and safety About The Role This is a field‑based position.
