About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Pedi Float Pool provides individualized patient care based on evidence‑based practices and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is ideal for nurses with pediatric experience who are dedicated to delivering high‑quality care. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift What You’ll Do Deliver nursing practices according to evidence‑based research and standards of care. Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members. Administer medications using advanced bar‑scanning and documentation technologies. Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically. Provide patient and family‑centered education to optimize health and wellness. Participate in multi‑disciplinary discharging of patients for safe transitions. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of pediatric, PICU, or NICU nursing experience required Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
