Maintenance Technician

Seeking a Maintenance Technician with experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment to minimize downtime and support operations. This role is paying up to $40/hr.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Repair conveyors, gearboxes, mixers, chillers, ovens, and bagging equipment
• Work with motors and electrical systems up to 480V
• Assist with machine setups and changeovers
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
