Paving Estimator

Job Description

The Paving Estimator plays a crucial role in the commercial paving sector, responsible for delivering precise cost estimates and competitive bids to secure projects. This position involves comprehensive site analysis, detailed report preparation, and maintaining clear communication with clients. The role requires frequent travel to project sites and collaboration with the Project Manager and Estimating Manager to ensure project schedules align with client expectations.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimations for commercial paving projects
Develop competitive project bids using specialized estimating software
Conduct thorough site analyses to gather relevant project data
Compile detailed reports to support bids and project planning
Communicate effectively with clients to clarify project requirements
Plan schedules in coordination with project timelines and resource availability
Travel frequently to project sites for assessments and inspections
Collaborate with Project Manager and Estimating Manager on project status and estimation accuracy

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in construction estimation

Preferred Qualifications

Strong time management skills
Excellent communication abilities
