This facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular surgery services with advanced surgical capabilities, including modern equipment and dedicated support staff. The hospital maintains 24-hour in-house coverage and is currently seeking locum tenens support during a period of active recruitment for a replacement surgical APP. Clinical resources are in place to ensure continuity of cardiovascular surgical care throughout the assigned coverage period.

Broadway at the Beach serves as a central hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment, while the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade provides access to ocean views, shops, and dining along the shore. Clinicians on assignment will also find interactive venues such as Ripley's Aquarium, the 187-foot SkyWheel with coastline views, and WonderWorks, an interactive science and entertainment venue spanning 41,000 square feet. Live performance venues, outdoor adventure experiences, watersports, golf, and fishing activities are available throughout the area.

The Physician Associate will provide cardiovascular surgery call coverage and inpatient hospital coverage, working 7-10 days per month in blocks across inpatient and OR settings. Shifts are structured as 12-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 24-hour shifts on weekends, with 24-hour in-house call required throughout the assignment. Clinical responsibilities include first assist capabilities in the OR and vein harvesting procedures utilizing the EVH system (Getinge Vasoview Hemopro 2), as well as night call with emergency surgery response when locum clinicians are present. The clinician will collaborate with 1 mid-level and 1 RN support staff during the coverage period.
