Flex Security Officer (Taser)

Security Officer

Supports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations. Oversees daily security operations, supervises assigned personnel, and ensures the consistent delivery of safety, security, and customer service. Compensation: $21.63 + Differentials. Responsibilities include maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property, and providing supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a completed high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications, strong vision abilities, ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person, valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian company's driving guidelines if applicable, previous work experience with the public in a service setting, ability to meet qualification standards when initially placed in a TASER position and annually thereafter, ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a TASER, ability to participate in and pass additional TASER training at the discretion of the TASER instructor and/or Tarian company, and ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Tarian company's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER), Tarian company's Taser Policy.

Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.
