Job Summary:
A Radiation Therapist position is available in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves administering ionizing radiation treatments, positioning patients, and verifying radiation prescriptions in accordance with physician orders. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Details:

• Location: Detroit, MI
• Schedule: M-F, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred; A.R.R.T. Radiation Therapy Technology Certification or registry eligible. A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Varian and Aria, familiarity with True Beams, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Float: Float rotation may be required if applicable.
• Additional Information: The role involves working on advanced treatment machines such as True Beams, with responsibilities including patient localization, immobilization device use, machine operation, documentation, and teaching radiation therapy students. The position emphasizes safety, adherence to quality assurance protocols, patient care, and teamwork.
