Sr. Clinical Account Executive - Oncology - Jackson, MS

AbbVie seeks a Senior Clinical Account Executive to launch and promote a new ultra-rare blood cancer therapy across the South region. The role focuses on building relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and care teams to drive adoption of the oncology product.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in oncology
• Monitor territory sales data and provide feedback to marketing on selling materials
• Manage key accounts and engage entire care teams to support patient initiation and protocol adherence
• Educate healthcare professionals on product preparation, administration, adverse event management, and patient protocols
• Attend and participate in local oncology conferences, society meetings, and patient advocacy events

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing key accounts for complex customers such as IDNs and academic institutions
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time; valid driver's license required
• Demonstrate patient centricity and strategic business acumen
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; rare disease or oncology/hematology experience
• Preferred: Launch experience in pharmaceutical sales or MBA
