Location and Shift Details Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (10115). This posting is for 4 8‑hour shifts per week with an on‑call rotation consisting of typically 1 overnight per week as well as a weekend on‑call rotation typically 1 weekend every 7‑8 weeks. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation) to provide direct and indirect patient care based on assigned area(s), addressing the age‑appropriate needs of all patients. Follow nursing department philosophies, policies, and procedures to develop unique education and care plans for each patient and provide appropriate education and support for family members. Use judgment, knowledge, and understanding of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff. Ensure customer satisfaction (patient, family, physician, others), maintain patient confidentiality, and be sensitive to the age‑specific patient needs for comfort, privacy, and generalized care. Annually complete competency requirements specific to the area(s) of responsibility. Qualifications Maintains current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
