The private, not-for-profit institution is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education and plays an important role in training the next generation of healthcare professionals.ResponsibilitiesThe Human Resources Partner provides support to department heads and employees to resolve employee relations issues. Will provide coaching and counseling to department heads in the area of employee training, corrective action/performance improvement, terminations, investigations, and employee complaints/grievances. Will serve as a subject matter expert on Human Resources policies, procedures and programs. Will conduct investigations on employee concerns, claims of harassment, hostile work environment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of confidentiality, etc. Will perform special projects as assigned.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.2. At least two (2) years of Human Resources work experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations required.3. Knowledge of state and federal employment law.4. Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.5. Must obtain Sexual Harassment certification within 6 months, and then maintain biennially.6. Ability to travel required.7. Human Resources Professional Certification preferred.Pay TransparencyCentral Maine Healthcare Corporation offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $32.00 to $40.01.
