Director, Global Public Affairs

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Director of Global Public Affairs to lead strategic advocacy initiatives across Oncology, Immunology, or Neuroscience portfolios within Innovative Medicine. This hybrid role develops multichannel public affairs strategies, manages stakeholder relationships, and advises therapeutic area leadership on policy and access priorities across multiple EMEA and US locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute proactive multichannel public affairs strategies aligned with therapeutic area priorities
- Serve as strategic advisor to therapeutic area leadership on policy, advocacy, and external engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with policy influencers, patient advocates, KOLs, and policymakers
- Monitor public policy landscape including pricing, reimbursement, and health equity considerations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with communications, government affairs, and patient access teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Policy, Public Relations, Government, or Communications
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in public affairs, politics, or policy communications
- Global or market-level advocacy experience preferred
- Strong executive communication and writing abilities
- Deep understanding of business strategy, access dynamics, and policy landscape
- Master's degree preferred
