AP Coordinator

Atlas Staffing is hiring an Accounts Payable Coordinator for an established consumer products company in Airway Heights, WA. This temporary position will support the accounting team with daily accounts payable processing, expense reporting, reconciliations, and financial documentation while providing coverage for an employee leave. Role Purpose Keep accounts payable transactions accurate, organized, and moving on schedule while providing additional coverage to the accounting team. Responsibilities Receive, review, scan, and route accounts payable invoices for approval Verify vendor information, GL coding, departments, dates, due dates, and invoice details Process employee expense reports and supporting documentation in Concur Follow up on missing receipts, approvals, and required documentation Maintain accurate electronic records for invoices and approvals Prepare account reconciliations, schedules, and journal entries with supporting documentation Assist with invoices related to inventory, freight, duties, brokerage, and transportation Research invoice discrepancies and coordinate with accounting, purchasing, and warehouse teams Support month end processing, payments, and Concur exports Qualifications One to two years of accounts payable, accounting, or related experience preferred Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience Experience with invoice processing, GL coding, expense reports, and account reconciliations Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word skills Experience with Concur, Apprise, Oracle, or another ERP or accounting system is a plus Accurate data entry and 10 key skills Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through Comfortable communicating with employees and other departments to resolve discrepancies Pay $19.50 to $20.50 per hour Available Shifts Monday through Friday 32 to 40 hours per week Start ASAP Temporary assignment expected through approximately mid November, with the possibility of becoming temp to hire if the ongoing business need changes.
