HVAC Installation Team Leader — Residential Systems Ready to lead complex home HVAC installs while coaching the next generation?

Your Impact

You’ll be the point person for residential system installations, upgrades, and replacements—owning the plan, the execution, the customer experience, and the safety standards that keep our team and clients protected.

What You’ll Lead Every Day

• Plan and execute precise residential HVAC installs, retrofits, and change-outs.
• Cut, thread, and connect copper or PVC; complete high- and low-voltage wiring.
• Mentor Install Helpers on-site and in the shop to elevate quality and speed.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners; address issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Lift, carry, bend, and move materials and equipment, frequently over 50 pounds.
• Keep your vehicle, tools, and parts clean, organized, and ready to roll.
• Work safely at heights and in tight spaces (attics), regardless of weather extremes.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and service standards.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• 1+ year of experience as an HVAC Lead Installer in residential environments.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• EPA certification and adherence to environmental regulations.
• Advanced diagnostic ability and critical thinking for tough install scenarios.
• Energetic, proactive work style with a dedication to top-quality outcomes.
• Service-oriented communicator who prioritizes homeowner needs.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Adaptable, innovative, and team-first approach in dynamic conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 lbs regularly; lift up to 100 lbs on occasion.
• Climb ladders; access attics; enter crawlspaces; push, pull, carry; perform fine-detail hand tool work.
• Drive between job sites.
• Work in indoor/outdoor environments, including attics and crawlspaces.
• Stand, walk, and sit; communicate in person and via telephone.
• Use hands to handle or feel tools/controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
• Tolerate extreme heat or cold and adverse weather (wind, rain, ice, snow).
