Special Skills/Experience required:

• 2 Years + Other Helpful or Misc. Information: ***All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy***
• Documentation system: Meditech / Medication scanning, Controlled substance policy
• Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have:
• 2+ Years HOSP/SPECIALTY EXPERIENCE
• BLS REQUIRED
• ACLS REQUIRED
• NIH stroke certification
• BSN preferred
• Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) Active TX RN License
• Procedures performed on unit: CABG, General Surgery IABP, IMPELLA, CRRT, Therapeutic Hypothermia, Rotoprone Ventilation
• Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
• Scrub Color o RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
• Nail Policy Clean and Healthy Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
