Job Description Emergency Medicine Physician – Athens, OH Seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician or Board Certified Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician with Emergency Medicine experience to support a busy emergency department. Position Details - Setting: Emergency Department - Volume: ~28,000 annual visits - ED Size: 22 beds - Coverage: 24 hours/day physician coverage (12-hour shifts) + 36 hours/day APP support - EMR: Epic - Support: On-site administrative team; physician-led organization Requirements - Board Certified in EM OR BC in FM/IM with ED experience - Minimum 12 months / 2,000 hours Emergency Medicine experience - Ohio license (in hand or in process) - DEA required prior to start - Recent NPDB self-query (within 30 days) - Clean malpractice and licensing history - No new graduates or visa candidates Position is ongoing with potential for permanent placement, and candidates may be required to relocate locally.
