Campus Dean - BSN Program

Role Summary Our client, a higher education institution offering nursing programs, is seeking a Campus Dean of Nursing to lead its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure academic quality, regulatory compliance, faculty effectiveness, and student success. The position oversees program delivery, faculty management, accreditation readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing program to achieve academic and operational goals Oversee program delivery to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and achievement of defined outcomes Lead curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement Collaborate on annual budget planning; monitor expenditures and analyze variances Recruit, hire, retain, and develop qualified full‑time and part‑time faculty Supervise faculty and staff, including performance management, mentorship, and professional development Lead faculty onboarding, orientation, and ongoing development initiatives Ensure readiness for accreditation reviews and regulatory audits Prepare and submit required reports to accrediting bodies, regulatory boards, and professional organizations Implement and oversee a comprehensive program evaluation process, including assessment of curriculum, faculty, students, resources, and outcomes Supervise data collection, analysis, and reporting to drive program improvements Represent the nursing program in institutional meetings, committees, and cross‑functional initiatives Partner with institutional leadership to support goals such as student retention, graduation rates, and satisfaction Engage with external stakeholders and communities of interest to inform program development Promote a collaborative and inclusive environment among faculty, staff, and leadership Oversee faculty recruitment and hiring processes in alignment with institutional policies Maintain active professional engagement through development, service, and participation in relevant organizations Teach assigned courses in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the program is delivered Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, with coursework in nursing, education, or administration Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or leadership role Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in pre‑ or post‑licensure nursing programs At least 2 years of direct patient care experience as a Registered Nurse (or equivalent as determined by regulatory standards) Demonstrated leadership and team management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Commitment to diversity and inclusion in alignment with applicable regulations Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and institutions Leadership approach that emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and facilitation Proficiency with computer‑based tools and systems Demonstrated ability to build consensus and drive alignment Experience with supervision, strategic planning, and budget development/management Preferred Qualifications Experience leading accredited nursing programs or preparing for accreditation reviews Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in nursing education Experience managing program‑level outcomes and data‑driven improvement initiatives Compensation & Work Model Full‑time, onsite leadership role Compensation not specified #J-18808-Ljbffr Twenty80 llc
