Field Service Technician – OWS & Grit Specialist (CDL Class A Driver) Compensation: $34/hr Schedule: 6am to 6pm Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays when needed *typically a 60 to 65 hour work week* Location: 6380 Centre Park Dr, West Chester, OH Position Overview The Field Service Technician – OWS & Grit Specialist is a CDL driver responsible for providing exceptional environmental services, primarily focused on the cleaning of oil/water separators (OWS), grit traps, and grease traps for commercial and industrial clients. This role involves operating vacuum trucks, handling non-hazardous waste, and working in demanding environments that require physical strength, technical skill, and strict compliance with safety and DOT regulations. This position is ideal for experienced vacuum truck operators or CDL drivers who want to expand into high-demand environmental work with technical and physical components. Essential Responsibilities * Operate vacuum equipment to clean oil/water separators, grit traps, and grease interceptors according to customer specifications and company procedures. * Pull, position, and manage heavy vacuum hoses (50+ lbs) over long distances and variable terrain. * Complete sludge judge readings and perform detailed inspections for every service, noting condition, volume, and abnormalities. * Perform line jetting services to ensure proper flow and system maintenance for both grease and OWS systems. * Ensure material collected is non-hazardous and complies with company waste handling protocols. * Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections using electronic DVIR systems. * Document all work accurately in the field via tablet-based routing and inspection systems. * Maintain a high level of customer service while explaining basic system issues, observations, or recommendations. * Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations—especially in confined spaces, slippery environments, and areas with potential hydrocarbon exposure. * Respond to emergency service requests and participate in the on-call rotation as needed. Minimum Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A
• Automatic drivers accepted – no transmission requirement
• One year of commercial driving experience preferred (military equivalent

• Willingness and ability to work in messy, smelly, and physically challenging

• Able to lift 55+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must pass DOT physical and be medically qualified to operate a commercial
