Practice Manager

Maimonides Medical Center
Maimonides Health, Brooklyn's largest healthcare system, is seeking a professional for the business operations of the division, which includes the Faculty Practice and any off-site practices/clinic locations. The role involves managing and monitoring provider schedules, clerical functions, budget & financial maintenance, patient experience, and billing within the division. The individual will also be responsible for establishing staffing procedures, hiring and supervising practice staff, and monitoring quality of care provided and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include managing operations of the practice, developing and implementing billing policies, managing provider and procedure schedules, managing supplies and equipment ordering, reviewing fee schedules, maximizing reimbursement, analyzing monthly reports, preparing monthly statistics, coordinating process improvement plans, reviewing patient satisfaction surveys, participating in staff selection, hiring, and supervision, developing work schedules, responding to complaints, developing new programs and marketing strategies, acting as liaison with community organizations, maintaining knowledge of technological changes, working with training programs, maintaining departmental policies, and adhering to the Medical Center's policy on Conflict of Interest.
Qualifications
The qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Business or Health Administration, minimum of 5 years of experience in a health-related field, preferably with 2-3 years in a managerial capacity with emphasis on financial and operational management, strong clinical background, knowledge of computerized billing systems, familiarity with reimbursement policies and procedures, clinical familiarity with area of specialty, good oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English.
Pay Range: USD $85,000.00 - USD $101,000.00 /Yr.
