Global Account Manager A typical day might include the following: Identifying and developing relationships with key customer influencers, stakeholders, and decision-makers to grow sales of SEL solutions. Developing and maintaining strategic account plans to execute customer-specific sales strategies and achieve business objectives. Understanding customer requirements and aligning SEL solutions to address their operational and strategic needs. Participating in the forecasting process through annual sales planning and periodic updates to strategic account plans. Serving as the primary point of contact for customers and building strong relationships with stakeholders and executive leadership. Leading cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines and geographies to understand and meet customer needs. Partnering with regional sales leadership to align territory strategies with SEL's strategic objectives. Managing sales efforts across multiple countries, complex territories, or geographically diverse regions. Leveraging CRM and other business tools to maintain customer information, track opportunities, and document sales activities. Fostering a culture of collaboration, high performance, and commitment to SEL values. This job might be for you if you have: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in a technical sales environment. Demonstrated knowledge of electric power utility and/or critical process industry sales, customer service, and technical support. Knowledge of successful financial, business, and sales models. Proven experience managing complex regional sales efforts, territories, and teams. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. The ability to learn and communicate the technical details of SEL solutions and competitive offerings. Strong writing, documentation, presentation, and communication skills. The ability to travel up to 30% of the time. Location We are open to filling this position in multiple locations. We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
