About the Role Are you a detail-driven professional with a CDL who takes pride in making sure every vehicle on the road is built to perfection? Randstad is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector to serve as the final line of defense before commercial heavy trucks roll out to customers!

In this dynamic, hands-on role, you won't just sit behind a desk-you'll inspect high-performance trucks inside and out, read technical blueprints, complete photo documentation, and take the driver's seat for final test drives. If you love variety, precision, and heavy machinery, this is your stage to shine!

What You'll Do

• The Final Seal of Approval: Perform thorough inspections on partial and fully assembled commercial trucks to ensure 100% compliance with top-tier safety and quality standards.
• Test Drive & Evaluate: Take commercial trucks out for test drives to verify performance, air brakes, and handling (CDL B required!).
• Master the Specs: Read and interpret sales orders, line tickets, schematics, and engineering drawings to ensure builds match specs down to the last detail.
• Document & Communicate: Maintain clear digital/written inspection records, take quality-control photos of finished trucks, and collaborate with production teams to fix any callouts.

What You Bring

• Valid CDL Class B (with Tank & Air Brake endorsements) + current Medical Card.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing, heavy vehicle, or mechanical environment.
• strong schematic reading skills and comfort using MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Sharp attention to detail, strong decision-making skills, and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to climb on/under trucks and work comfortably in both indoor and outdoor plant environments.

salary: $22 - $26 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Operate and Inspect components of as well as partially and fully assembled trucks for compliance with quality and serviceability standards.
• Maintain legible written and electronic records.
• Communicate with coworkers in a clear and professional manner.
• Test drive commercial trucks - minimum of CDL B with Tank and Air brake endorsements and medical card required.
• Read, understand, and interpret sales orders, line tickets, schematics, engineering drawings.
• Utilize various computer programs to fulfill job functions.

The essential functions of this role include:
