Rheumatologist Opportunity
Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified Rheumatologist to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We're all about well-being, starting with yours. Practice Highlights
- Monday-Friday with 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours of administrative time.
- Call is in rotation with the group.
- Telemedicine options available
- System-Wide EPIC EMR
Responsibilities:
- Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
- Manages the physician/patient relationship.
- Participates in systemwide health management initiatives.
- Provides input into the practice sites financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
- Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
- Receives and resolves patient complaints.
- Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, inservices, and workshops.
- Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost effective treatment of patients with rheumatologic disorders.
- Performs other functions as required.
