Rheumatologist Opportunity

Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified Rheumatologist to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We're all about well-being, starting with yours. Practice Highlights

  • Monday-Friday with 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours of administrative time.
  • Call is in rotation with the group.
  • Telemedicine options available
  • System-Wide EPIC EMR

Responsibilities:

  • Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.
  • Manages the physician/patient relationship.
  • Participates in systemwide health management initiatives.
  • Provides input into the practice sites financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.
  • Receives and resolves patient complaints.
  • Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, inservices, and workshops.
  • Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost effective treatment of patients with rheumatologic disorders.
  • Performs other functions as required.

M.D/DO., board eligible or certified in Rheumatology. NM License Required
