Class A CDL OTR Team Driver - Middleburg, FL | $1,000-$3,500+ Weekly Potential

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring experienced Class A CDL OTR Drivers in Middleburg, FL for a growing transportation operation offering competitive pay, performance-based bonuses, newer equipment, and a 3 weeks out / 1 week home schedule.

Drivers can be hired from across the United States. For drivers who live outside the Middleburg/Jacksonville, FL area, transportation to Florida will be provided after hiring. Drivers are responsible for their own travel expenses when returning home unless their route provides an opportunity to return toward their home area.

Drivers will operate newer, well-maintained equipment with automatic transmissions while traveling on long-haul routes throughout the United States.

This position offers a competitive base earning potential of $1,000–$2,000 per week based on experience, plus the opportunity to earn an additional $500–$1,500 per week in performance-based bonuses.

Duties

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned OTR routes
Transport freight safely and efficiently throughout the United States
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation
Safely secure and transport freight
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Maintain a professional relationship with customers and other members of the transportation team
Properly care for and maintain assigned equipment
Report equipment issues, accidents, incidents, and other safety concerns promptly
Meet scheduled pickup and delivery appointments
Maintain compliance with applicable hours-of-service requirements
Complete all assigned routes and deliveries safely and on schedule

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 2 years of verifiable and consecutive commercial driving experience
Experience must be with equipment similar to the equipment expected to be operated
CDL experience must consist of holding a valid U.S. or U.S. territory CDL for at least 2 consecutive years immediately prior to employment
Strong driving history and safety record
Ability to meet company and insurance driving requirements
Ability to pass required background checks
Ability to pass required drug screening
Ability to meet DOT physical and medical certification requirements
Strong communication skills
Reliable and professional work ethic
Ability to remain on the road for approximately 3 weeks at a time
Willingness to work a 3 weeks out / 1 week home schedule
Ability to safely operate automatic commercial equipment
Driving Record Requirements

Candidates must meet the company's applicable driving and insurance requirements.

Generally:

No more than 3 minor violations within the previous 12 months
No more than 2 at-fault accidents within the previous 36 months
Major driving violations may result in disqualification
Suspended or revoked licenses are not acceptable
Certain serious traffic violations may result in automatic disqualification
Drivers with violations or accidents outside the standard guidelines may require additional review and approval prior to employment
Major Violations

The following types of violations may result in disqualification depending on the date and circumstances:

DUI/DWI or driving while impaired
Driving while license is suspended or revoked
Leaving the scene of an accident
Failure to report an accident
Reckless driving
Racing or speed contests
Felony involving a motor vehicle
Homicide, manslaughter, or assault involving a motor vehicle
Fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement
Fraudulent use of an operator's license
Speeding more than 20 MPH over the posted speed limit
Operating a CDL vehicle without the required CDL
Passing a stopped school bus
Speeding in a school zone
Other serious violations that do not meet company or insurance requirements
MVR Review

Driving records will be reviewed as part of the hiring process to ensure candidates meet company and insurance requirements.

Drivers who fall outside the standard qualification guidelines may be subject to additional review and approval before an offer of employment can be made.
