Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Medical Biller. The Medical Biller will be responsible for processing medical claims, handling insurance verifications, identifying and resolving denials, and ensuring the accuracy of medical coding using ICD-10. The role involves communicating with insurance providers, maintaining compliance with billing regulations, and providing prompt and reliable support to the billing department. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential to succeed in this position. Qualifications Proficiency in Medical Terminology for accurate understanding and management of medical documentation Experience in managing Denials and Insurance claims with a strong ability to resolve billing issues Proficiency in ICD-10 medical coding for proper claim submission and billing processes Knowledge of Medicare billing requirements and other relevant insurance programs Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills for accurate and efficient record-keeping Excellent communication skills to interact with insurance providers and team members Ability to work independently in a remote setting Previous experience in medical billing or related roles preferred
