Maintenance Technician I – Electrical 

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Pay: $16.00–$17.00/hr + $1.00 Attendance Incentive
Schedule: Monday– Thursday 

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician I with electrical and wiring experience to join our manufacturing team. This position involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and assisting with equipment repairs in a facility that assembles pressure washers and carpet-cleaning machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.

• Inspect, repair, and replace electrical wiring, connections, and components.

• Assist with maintenance and repairs of equipment used in the assembly of pressure washers and carpet-cleaning machines.

• Identify equipment malfunctions and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

• Read and follow wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical instructions.

• Inspect machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Maintain accurate records of equipment repairs and maintenance activities.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as needed.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of maintenance or electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience working with electrical wiring, connections, and components.

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical instructions.

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Availability to work overtime as needed.
