Seeking Custodian/Trash Technician for logistics facility in Bessemer, AL (47/20) Shifts: Wednesday-Saturday, 5:30p-4a, Trash Technician/Custodian, $15.50/hour Wednesday-Saturday, 6a-4:30p, Floor Technician (experience required), $18.00/hour Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities: General Cleaning - Restrooms, Plant Area, Break Rooms, Conference Rooms, etc., This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas (make 7:30p-6am sure to bring coat): Yard area, guard shack, smoke area, etc. While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer, we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Removing and Bailing Cardboard Moving and stacking Pallets Fork truck operation MUST be open to any task assigned Qualifications:; Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs. Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals #J-18808-Ljbffr
