We are seeking dependable, safety-minded, and customer-focused individuals to join our delivery team in Fayetteville, North Carolina.If you enjoy working independently, staying active, and making a positive impact in your community, we'd love to hear from you.Position SummaryThe Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily delivery operations, including safety, driver performance, dispatch execution, staffing, and operational metrics. This individual will work closely with company leadership and Amazon station personnel to ensure routes are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all company and Amazon standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage daily delivery operations for multiple delivery routesSupervise dispatch activities and ensure successful route executionRecruit, train, coach, and develop Delivery Associates and support staffConduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and corrective actions when necessaryFoster a positive workplace culture focused on safety, accountability, and employee engagementMonitor key performance indicators including safety metrics, on-time delivery performance, customer feedback, attendance, and route completionAnalyze operational data and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costsPartner with Amazon station leadership to address operational challenges and maintain complianceInvestigate incidents, accidents, and customer escalations while ensuring proper documentation and follow-upAssist with workforce planning, scheduling, and labor managementConduct daily operational meetings, safety briefings, and shift handoffsEnsure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and Amazon delivery standardsServe as a leader during peak operations, severe weather events, and other high-pressure situationsQualificationsMust be at least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, operations, warehouse management, or related fieldsStrong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and operational reporting toolsAbility to work weekends and flexible schedules as business needs requireValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordPreferredBachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related fieldPrevious Amazon DSP, transportation, or last-mile delivery experienceExperience with performance management and employee developmentKnowledge of Amazon delivery performance metrics and station operationsExperience managing 50+ employees in a fast-paced environmentPay: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAt R3D1 Logistics, our success starts with our people.
