ROLE OF THE 211 EOK PROGRAM AND OUTREACH MANAGER

The 211 Eastern Oklahoma (211 EOK) Program and Outreach Manager will support day to day functions of 211 EOK, including quality assurance of processes, vendors and integrity of the data. The position will also manage the outcomes of the 211 EOK Housing Navigation program and execute the outreach strategy. 

 

The position will also manage reporting for any local, state and federal grants. The manager may supervise at least four staff positions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Management

• Support day-to-day operations of 211 Eastern Oklahoma, including monitoring vendor call center performance.

• Oversight of the resource database and processes to ensure data integrity, comprehensiveness and at least 85% accuracy of the 211 resource database of community resources in the 37-county service area.
• Manage the Housing Navigation and Ride United programs to ensure that goals are met.

Reporting & Community Partnerships

• Responsible for all reporting due from grants specifically designated to 211 EOK, including working with partners for statewide reporting.
• Manage quality relationships with diverse groups of community partners to ensure community wide awareness of 211 EOK.
• Develop and manage an outreach and awareness plan for the 37-county region of 211 EOK.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience  

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in public administration, public health, business, social services, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a call center, nonprofit, human services, healthcare, public sector, or related systems-based work.
• Strategic leadership and operational management experience.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to use data and analytics to guide planning, decision-making, and service improvements.
• Strong communication, project management, and organizational leadership skills.
• High integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Experience managing programs, operations, call centers or community-based systems involving multiple stakeholders helpful.
• Experience with grants, contracts, fundraising, or resource development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and implement strategic initiatives in dynamic environments.

Working Conditions

• Hybrid work environment with regular in-person meetings and regional travel.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• TAUW hosts multiple events throughout the year which are held in both indoor and outdoor locations.
• Working occasional evening and weekend hours is necessary due to after-hours meetings, community events and volunteer schedules; however, the regular workweek schedule at TAUW is 37.5 hours, taking this into consideration.
• Interactions beyond staff include communications with volunteers, donors, leaders and staff of nonprofit organizations, board, cabinet, and committee members, and the general public.
