Patient Care Assistant – Full-Time Position Open

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Patient Assistant Night Shift to join our healthcare team.

Starting pay rate – $18 - $20 per hour

The ideal candidate will have experience in a nursing home, community care, or a teaching hospital setting. This position offers an opportunity to work in the patient’s home environment.

Responsibilities: Assist patients with activities of daily living, personal care; monitor and record vital signs; provide support in in-home and with errands, appointments and activities outside of home, such as shopping and light housekeeping; assist in medical documentation and record-keeping; collaborate with the patient, family, and members of our home health agency to ensure patient well-being.

Skills: Experience in nursing home or home community care preferred; familiarity with basic medical documentation; willing to receive on the job training if no history in-home care or clinical experience; knowledge of dementia care practices; strong communication and interpersonal skills, basic phone and computer skills.
