Fast Company named LivePerson the #1 Most Innovative AI Company in the world.Position OverviewIn this role as a Software Development Engineer III - Full stack or BE, you will be a highly contributing member of a core engineering team working to build the LivePerson Voice offering expertly integrating it into the existing LivePerson offering and different contact center solutions. In this role, you will be exposed to new technologies and architectures, and will work with Principal engineers and architects to design and execute new solutions. You must be a team player, motivated, ambitious and eager to grow through building and successfully delivering industry-shifting products. You Will: Key Responsibilities & ImpactYou will be working directly with the customer facing application. As a Software Developer you will build components of the LivePerson Voice product with a focus on stability and innovation. Architect, Design and implement business software and underlying APIsWork with Product Management to create delightful user experiencesCreate platform-independent code that can be run on multi-browser, multi-OS environmentsPlay a critical role in all architecture, coding, testing, and deployment decisions.Produce engineering specifications, delivery estimates, and implement solutions based on product requirements.Provide technical documentation for the solutions that you implementCollaborate with peers on specifications, code reviews, and testing.Write unit and automated end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features.Meet KPIs for engineering team and be responsible for them on a weekly basisCommunicate with customers and partners to be able to provide business value and engineering value to the problems at hand. Participate in daily standups, sprint planning sessions, grooming sessions, and retrospectives.You Have: Required Skills & Qualifications8+ years of experience building enterprise-class multi-tenant application platform5+ years of experience in Java programming and Spring Boot-style frameworks2+ years of experience in TypeScript, Javascript, Node.js or equivalent frameworks3+ years of Experience building distributed RESTful microservices3+ year of experience with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, NoSql, MongoDB, MySQL, Postgres, FirestoreStrong Object Oriented design and implementation experience, strong knowledge of web protocols, and knowledge of distributed systems architectures.Strong experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliabilityExperience working with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft AzureExperience in Kubernetes such as GKEExperience with GitExperience with Agile development methodologyExperience with Linux and Windows administrationStrong communication skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldStrong Plus:Experience building interactive UI with Angular/VueExperience building voice and messaging applicationsExperience integrating telephony, CRM, or CTI applications.Experience with reactive programmingThe salary range for this role will be between $140,000 - $160,000 USD.
