Chief Engineer
The Hyatt Place Park City is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team and oversee the technical operations of our organization. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and drive technical excellence within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring efficient project execution and technical quality.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, standards, and best practices to optimize operational performance.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of engineering systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met on time and within budget.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.
- Manage budgets, resources, and procurement related to engineering projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role, with a track record of successful project management.
- Strong technical knowledge across relevant engineering disciplines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Proficiency with engineering software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards, codes, and regulations applicable to the industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and lead teams effectively.
