Job Overview Position: Team Member Reports To: Production Supervisor Location: Swedesboro, NJ Pay: $16.50/hr Position Summary This role is a key position within our production room and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards. The position may involve any or multiple of the following roles: packer, filler, stacker, box labeler, inspector. What You Will Do Follow GMP/PPE, Safety guidelines, maintain HACCP & Sanitation guidelines & processes Use proper tools (scoops) and correct tools to open bags following proper process Understand yield standards Work safely around moving equipment & conveyors in a wet environment Place product & condiment into bowls Pack units into approved cases Follow specifications for certain salad blending Visually inspect bowls of packed product for quality, including proper bowl marking & positioning, seal integrity, weight & migration Be cross‑trained and able to multitask in multiple positions Maintain a safe work environment Work in a fast‑paced environment Comply with SQF Regulatory Programs Maintain a clean work area at all times Notify QA if product has quality issues (out of specifications) Follow the proper process when using the decanting spray Operate a dishwasher after checking to ensure soap is in the dishwasher Cleans bowls Maintain tools & equipment as delimited by the 5S marking Process cleaning of totes (manual or automatic) Change out tape machine and box labeler as required Follow and enforce the 5S Methodology Minimum Qualifications Must be able to speak / read / write one of the core languages (English, Spanish, Creole, French, Hindi). Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast‑paced, 24‑hour plant environment. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. GED/High School Diploma Physical Work Environment / Demands Ability to frequently move, push, or carry items up to 50lbs Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to move within a fast‑paced environment in/outside facility, and traverse between the maintenance shop & production floor Ability to ascend/descend stairs/ladder for repairs Ability to position self to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Exposed to a cold & wet environment of 34 degrees. Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions Must be able to exchange accurate information through frequent communications within all levels of the organization Must be able to detect, identify, inspect, observe, and assess surroundings #J-18808-Ljbffr
