Staff Accountant

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join their team in Arizona. This is a temporary full-time position, requiring a 100% onsite presence, where the focus will be on ensuring accurate financial reconciliations. The role is ideal for someone with strong skills in Excel, particularly in using pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize QuickBooks and JD Edwards accounting software effectively to manage financial records.
• Employ Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP to analyze financial data accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements.
• Assist in preparing financial reports as needed to support the accounting team.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations while performing tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and JD Edwards accounting software is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in Excel, particularly in using pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.

Required Work Hours

This is a full-time temporary position with work hours M-F. Projected to last 4-8 weeks.

Salary:

$28.85 to $33.65 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
