Responsibilities Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality PRN NIGHT Schedule: 6:45p-7:15a; 2 (minimum) 12-hr shifts per month Qualifications A minimum of a High school diploma or GED required 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting, preferred Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant License required or completion of the HCA Patient Care Tech Essentials training BCLS certification required upon hire Must be able to complete PCT Orientation (2 full weeks, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm before transitioning to 12-hr shifts on floor). Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Women’s & Children’s healthcare services. We offer the region’s only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care for critically ill mothers and their babies. Our hospital has an antepartum unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a Level III NICU. We have four emergency rooms, including a dedicated Pediatric emergency room and two freestanding ERs located in Olathe and Shawnee. Each year our colleagues treat over 45,000 patients.
