**Role and ResponsibilitiesSummary: **Responsible for the estimating and handling of a variety of residential and commercial property damage claims including fire, water, wind, and collision. Candidates must be empathetic and provide excellent customer service. Candidates should be self—motivated and able to sell services in a fast-paced environment.

• Completes site inspections on all project assignments as well as gathers and inputs data compiled during field inspections in order to prepare accurate, timely estimates.
• Negotiates directly with insurance representatives and third- party administrators.
• Works directly with property owner to address and resolve time sensitive property damage claims.
• Shows compassion with property owners and project payees when dealing with their loss.
• Maintains accurate logging of all relevant communication pertaining to each job file and ensures compliance with all third-party provider performance standards.
• Demonstrates the ability to be detail oriented and the ability to manage a large amount of information with multiple, time sensitive tasks.
• Demonstrates proficiencies in the knowledge of general construction and property damage restoration means and methods.
• Takes instruction from assigned manager and communicates with them on a regular basis.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Xactimate, PSA, Encircle, Luxor CRM and Microsoft Outlook.

**Required Education and Experience

**

• College Degree – 2 or 4 year
• 2-4 years’ experience in construction estimating or related field experience

**Specialized Training: **

• IICRC FSRT
• IICRC WRT
• IICRC ASD
• IICRC OCT

**Certificates and Licenses: **

• WI Dwelling Contractor
• Valid Driver's License

**Equipment: **

• This job operates partially on job sites. These sites may be damaged by fire, flooding, wind damage or other structural damage.
• Must be able to move freely over uneven and/or debris ridden sites.
• Reporting and management interaction occur in a professional office setting.
• Lifting may be required.
• Site inspection (post disaster and during/post restoration) will be expected.
• Travel within the region (tri-state area) may be requested.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); hot or cold conditions (weather), fumes or airborne particles; and risk of electrical shock.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
