MBS Innovations is a recruiting agency focused on AI and engineering talent. We opened under nine months ago and are already past seven figures in revenue, and we're hiring to keep up. Our founder spent 18 years helping build one of the largest tech staffing agencies in America before starting his own, and he's in the trenches with the team every day rather than managing from a distance. We plan to add 20+ people before the end of the year.

Our clients

We recruit for AI labs, the infrastructure companies much of the industry runs on, and applied AI startups growing quickly. Most are backed by well-known venture and strategic investors. We also work with Fortune 1000 companies standing up serious AI and engineering teams for the first time.

The work these companies are doing is not incremental. Some are building the models and compute everything else gets built on. Some are working on drug discovery and cutting years off the time it takes to get a treatment to a patient. Some are launching hardware into orbit. Some are rebuilding the power grid, or the tools that let a single engineer do what used to take a team of fifty.

The common thread is that the engineers they need are rare. There are not many people who can do this work, and finding them is the job.

How we work

Our process is AI centric, built that way from day one rather than layered onto an old playbook. Sourcing, screening, matching, outreach, scheduling, and pipeline tracking all run on automation, using both the best tools on the market and several we've built ourselves. We expect you to be genuinely interested in that side of the work.

What technology can't do is the rest of it. Once a candidate is in process, they get a real person who picks up the phone, tells them the truth, and checks in daily. Candidates notice, and it's why they come back to us and refer their friends.

What you'll do

You will own the process end to end: finding software and AI engineers, talking with them, understanding what they actually want, matching them to open roles across our client base, and staying with them through interviews, offers, and close. Some days it feels like sales and some days it feels like career counseling. Usually both.

• Source and reach out to engineers across AI, ML, infrastructure, and full-stack
• Screen and interview candidates
• Run multiple candidate processes at the same time
• Coordinate interview loops, prep candidates beforehand, and pass feedback both directions
• Negotiate and close offers
• Build a network you will draw on for the rest of your career

Compensation and benefits

• $80,000 to $200,000 first year, based on production
