Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate and monitor patient conditions with strong clinical assessment skills.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately within the EMR system, preferably Meditech.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Float between MedSurg and Telemetry units as needed to ensure continuous coverage.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with licensing, certifications, and hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current, valid state RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of recent Acute Care hospital experience.
  
  
• 
  Certification in BLS (AHA or Red Cross) and ACLS (AHA or Red Cross).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in Meditech EMR (preferred).
  
  
• 
  Be flexible to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including weekends.
  
  
• 
  Ability to attend limited Meditech orientation/training if lacking direct experience.
