Physical Therapist - Full Time

Physical TherapistWe're looking for a Physical Therapist to take on a full-time role with one of our area clients. You will help patients move better, feel better, and stay active—whether they are recovering from an injury or managing long-term conditions.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA.Active Washington State Physical Therapist license is required to start the position.BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC.Clinical experience in home health or comparable outpatient/rehabilitation settings is preferred.Ability to complete and submit OASIS assessments, reassessments, transfers, resumptions of care, discharges, and significant change in condition.Experience appropriately utilizing ICD-10 codes.Experience directing or supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, as assigned.Willingness to travel and provide care across the greater Seattle area (coverage excludes west and south Seattle). No on-call and no weekends.Work/life balance.Mileage reimbursement.Licensure renewal reimbursement.Comprehensive, individualized training period.Employee referral bonus program.Employee appreciation days.Career growth and advancement potential.Paid time off and sick leave.Medical, dental, and vision for full-time employees.401(k) retirement plan.Continuing education at no cost.Parking is covered for PTs and PTAs.Responsibilities:Provide physician-ordered plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.Work in conjunction with all home care personnel in patient care planning.Direct and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, as assigned.Take initial patient history and perform initial evaluations.Consult with physicians regarding changes in treatment.Instruct patients and family in home programs and activities of daily living.Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement activities as assigned.Complete required documentation and coding, including appropriate use of ICD-10.Manage a typical caseload of approximately 25 visits when working independently; typical caseload is approximately 20 visits when working with a PTA.Location HighlightsSeattle and the surrounding communities offer abundant outdoor recreation, cultural attractions, and dining options.
