Key Responsibilities Supervise and mentor fabrication team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Plan, schedule, and assign daily fabrication tasks to meet production deadlines and customer specifications. Oversee the operation and maintenance of fabrication equipment, including welders, grinders, and cutting tools. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to guide fabrication processes and material selection. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize fabrication efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Conduct quality control inspections on fabricated components to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, and tools required for fabrication operations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex fabrication issues, collaborating with engineering and production teams as needed. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, STICK) and metal forming processes. Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor a team of skilled fabricators. Experience with quality control procedures and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
