Compensation: $80.00-$110.00/hour, depending on experience level
Type: Contract
Location: San Mateo or San Diego (Hybrid)
Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (ITAR / CUI environment) Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of strategic People Experience (PX) programs and organizational initiatives across multiple business functions.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to establish project objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Build and manage comprehensive project plans, governance frameworks, and stakeholder communication strategies.
- Track project milestones, identify risks and dependencies, and drive issue resolution to maintain program momentum.
- Develop and execute change management plans to support successful implementation and adoption of new processes, programs, and organizational initiatives.
- Evaluate organizational readiness and stakeholder impacts, creating plans to address potential challenges and resistance.
- Facilitate collaboration across HR teams, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, status reports, dashboards, and program updates.
- Maintain project documentation, decision logs, action plans, and risk registers.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, project delivery methods, and organizational effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience leading complex enterprise programs, organizational transformations, or HR-related initiatives.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong expertise in project and program management methodologies, including planning, governance, risk management, and execution.
- Experience designing and implementing change management and adoption strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence decision-making and drive results across teams without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in high-growth, technology-driven, aerospace, defense, or similarly complex organizations preferred.
- PMP, Prosci, or related project/change management certifications are a plus.
- Timely and effective delivery of key People Experience initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and alignment across functional teams.
- Successful adoption of organizational changes, programs, and processes.
- Clear governance, reporting, and program transparency.
- Positive feedback from leadership and business stakeholders regarding program outcomes and execution.
