Global / US Senior Director, Insights, Analytics & Forecasting

AstraZeneca seeks a Global/US Senior Director to lead an integrated Insights, Analytics & Forecasting function that informs commercial strategy and portfolio decisions. The role combines business intelligence, advanced analytics, and forecasting to provide market perspective and drive data-driven decision-making across therapeutic areas and brands.
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated Insights, Analytics & Forecasting function with clear accountability and high team performance
- Develop external perspective on markets, patients, and competitors to inform strategic choices
- Apply advanced analytics, forecasting, and AI approaches to quantify opportunities and guide business decisions
- Partner across Commercial, Medical, Finance, and Market Access to align global priorities with US execution
- Modernize function through AI, automation, and scalable data products; build organizational agility and digital fluency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, business, or related field
- 6–8 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in commercial strategy, insights, analytics, or forecasting
- Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams spanning insights, analytics, and forecasting disciplines
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape portfolio decisions
- Experience leading organizational change, transformation, and capability building at scale
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics, digital tools, and modern data ecosystems
- Excellent communication skills; ability to simplify complex analysis for executives
Compensation: $218,329–$327,494 base
