Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, collaborating with a dynamic team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The conducive work setting fosters teamwork and continuous learning, enabling all staff to provide the best possible care for patients. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to assess their needs and establish realistic goals throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Deliver personalized treatment sessions, seeing 2-3 patients per hour, focusing on their mobility and functional recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based methods to create tailored care plans incorporating a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at improving motion and mobility, while actively working to reduce the necessity for medications or surgical interventions.
• Monitor and record patient progress meticulously, providing updates and adapting care plans as needed.
• Encourage and motivate patients during their rehabilitation process to achieve optimal performance and functionality.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
• Adhere to best practices and regulatory standards, documenting all patient care services accurately.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises, you will be primarily working with outpatient clients experiencing various musculoskeletal challenges. The focus will be on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Your interventions will not only address immediate recovery but will also emphasize long-term health and wellness through tailored fitness programs.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist License in the state of Maryland, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in exercise prescriptions.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Familiarity with a variety of treatment modalities and rehabilitation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
