Mail Services Specialist, SLC

JOB SUMMARY The Mailroom Associate is responsible for daily mailroom operations, shipping and receiving, and local delivery driver support. This role helps ensure time-sensitive materials, such as payroll, equipment, and retail communications, are processed, tracked, and delivered accurately and on schedule. Responsibilities Process and organize incoming and outgoing mailroom deliveries Coordinate shipping and receiving, including tracking and documentation Drive a company delivery van/box truck locally between Corporate Office and Distribution Center Support packing, labeling, and shipment organization to meet deadlines Maintain an organized mailroom and staging area for outgoing materials Position Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver's License required; safe driving record essential 1 year of related experience preferred (mailroom, shipping and receiving, warehouse, delivery driver) Forklift and pallet jack certification preferred (training available) Basic math skills for weights, counts, and shipping costs Comfortable using a computer for route lookups, printing labels, and barcode tracking Experience with scanners and printers preferred Ability to lift, move, and handle materials regularly (standing, bending, repetitive motion) Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely in varied weather conditions Associated Food Stores is an equal opportunity employer.
