Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Paw Paw seeking Inventory Control Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Oversee regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories, investigating and resolving variances.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
• Manage the disposition of excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory to minimize carrying costs.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehousing to optimize material flow and storage.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems (ERP, WMS) to track and control inventory.
• Develop and report on key inventory performance indicators (KPIs) to management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and optimization techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and improve inventory control processes, leading to cost reductions and increased efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation and optimization.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Project management experience, particularly related to supply chain initiatives.
