Contract | 10-Hour Evening Shifts, 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM | Expected 40 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients in an inpatient hospital setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient mental health status and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following psychiatric nursing protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - must be valid and in good standing
• Psychiatric nursing experience is required
• All candidates are subject to a clinical interview; availability for scheduling must be provided upon submission
• Must be available to arrive a few days prior to start date to complete New Mexico state fingerprinting requirements
• Must have Social Security card available for onboarding

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting
• Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and behavioral health interventions
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary treatment team environment
