Maintenance Mechanic 1

Job TitleShift: 1st ShiftStarting Rate: $31.01 per hourGENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, inspecting, repairing, installing, and servicing of stationary and mobile equipment; repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, cables, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc.; examines mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble; disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts; adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary; cleans and lubricates parts; orders replacement parts; inspects completed repairs; performs all work in accordance with safety procedures; requisitions new parts and equipment; and other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Safely complete other assigned training.Safely meet the supervisor's standards of performance.Safely fill in as needed during vacation, absences, and increased production demandsSafely replace or assist other workers as needed.Safely perform other tasks as assigned by supervision or designated lead person.Valid Driver's LicenseWilling to work weekends and on call hours5+ years of mechanical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment; willing and able to work rotating shiftsPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
