CDM Stravitec NV is a leading international company specialised in the design, manufacture and installation of structural acoustics and vibration isolation systems for building structures and industrial applications . CDM Stravitec is a globally recognised market leader in their sector, active in more than 30 countries and has a clear vision of the future to make our world a quieter place . We do this by demanding the highest quality standards from our products and solutions, by considering the strict environmental standards in their development (local legislation, energy saving, reduction of waste and atmospheric emissions,…) and the building codes and construction best practises during their application.

We are seeking for a highly motivated CFO to strengthen our team and further expand CDM Stravitec’s growth. .

WHAT ARE THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CFO ?

• Financial Policy and Reporting:
• You develop and implement a coherent financial policy aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.
• You ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting to the CEO, the Executive Committee, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• You lead the annual budgeting process, multi-year planning, and forecasting.
• Financial Management and Control:
• You safeguard the financial position, liquidity, and capital structure of the company.
• You oversee accurate and efficient accounting, financial administration, and internal control measures.
• You optimize financial processes and systems to support efficient and transparent business operations.
• Organizational Development and Transformation:
• You contribute actively to establishing and embedding new organizational structures, including centralizing of the financial activities to headquarters.
• You help shape transformation processes and ensure their financial foundation and support.
• Leadership and Team Development:
• You lead, guide, and develop the finance department, including the Finance Business Partner and the two accountants.
• You foster a culture of collaboration, results-orientation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• You encourage, motivate, and support your team through change and professionalization.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• You identify, analyse, and manage financial risks.
• Stakeholder Management:
• You act as a strategic sparring partner for the CEO and other Management Committee members.
• You maintain constructive relationships with internal stakeholders, such as management teams and employees, and with external parties including financial institutions, auditors, board members and other relevant partners.
• IT Management:
• In the short to medium term, it is envisaged that the management of the IT department will also become part of the CFO’s responsabilities.

You are responsible for these activities across the entire Group , covering both the headquarters in Belgium and CDM Stravitec’s six international subsidiaries in France, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.

• With a solid academic background – a Master’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration – you bring the right foundation to take on this strategic role. At least 10 years of proven experience in a financial leadership position have shaped your ability to lead with both vision and impact.
• Fluency in Dutch, English and French is essential to operate confidently across the organization and with stakeholders; proficiency in English is a welcome bonus.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking goes hand in hand with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset . Challenges are approached with clarity, logic, and decisiveness, always with an eye on results.
