About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Location

Clyde, North Carolina

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 hours guaranteed per week | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all hospital units and patient populations, including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Perform and manage respiratory treatments, assessments, and interventions in alignment with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Float throughout the facility as needed to support departmental staffing needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Adhere to all facility policies, dress code standards, and Joint Commission requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy
• Minimum of 1–2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Ability to float to all areas of the hospital as assigned
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a multi-service hospital environment including ED, cardiology, or surgical units
• Comfort working with all patient populations in a fast-paced acute care setting
