The role As Assistant Director of Sales, you will support the Director of Sales in leading the Sales & Events team and driving commercial success across both Hyatt Regency Manchester and Hyatt House Manchester. You will play a key role in generating revenue, developing client relationships and maximising profitability across all areas of the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Group Sales, Event Sales and Planning activities across both hotels. Drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies and business development activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event organisers, universities and key business partners. Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, prospecting and client engagement. Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing and Operations teams to maximise total hotel performance. Coach, develop and inspire the Sales team to achieve individual and departmental objectives. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and strengthen market position. About you: Has proven experience in hotel sales, events or commercial leadership. Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills. Is highly organised with excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Builds strong relationships and delivers exceptional customer service. Has a proactive approach to generating new business opportunities. Understands revenue management principles and commercial performance. Thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys achieving targets.
