PA Program Department Assistant

They will work closely with the Program Director, Medical Director, and Program Faculty to manage and support program operations.The administrative assistant supports the Program Director, Medical Director and Program Faculty and performs various duties as delegated by the Program Director and other program personnel to include, but not limited to the following:Assist Program Director with general correspondence, surveys, funding, applications, scheduling appointments, and self-study reportsMaintain records regarding Staff, Faculty, Academic Progress, Curriculum, and Advisory CommitteesPurchase and inventory all office equipment/suppliesPurchase all instructional and laboratory (medical) suppliesCoordinate/schedule various PA Program Committee meetingsAssist Program Director in coordination and data collection for self-study purposesCompile information for accreditationAdditionally, the administrative assistant may be cross trained on additional administrative tasks as needed for optimal program operations.Key Job Responsibilities:Tracks, stocks, orders, and inventories office supplies to ensure adequate materials are available for workplace operationSends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and proceduresSchedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operationsServes as first point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums, routing more complex inquiries to the appropriate entitiesDepartment:MSPA Program in the Academic CollegeCompensation:$17.59 - $20.00 / per hour depending on qualifications and experienceRequired Qualifications:At least 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant roleRequires ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with frequent high levels of urgency or sensitivityMust be able to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in a team environmentGood interpersonal skills are required both written and oralProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to lift 5 lbs.Demonstrates proficiency in communication (written and verbal).Strong attention to details.Effectively manage and organize daily tasks independently and with a team while balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.Accuracy and productivity in completing tasks.General Administrative Duties.A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement, and discretion.Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues.Ability to solve complex problems and meet deadlines.Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, collaboration, and matrix management skills.Education:Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GEDPrefer associate's degree or higherHow to Apply:For full consideration, please submit your cover letter and resume along with your application no later than May 31, 2026.Contact Information:If you have questions, please reach out to Barbara Hasper at View email address on click.appcast.io or 262-595-2314Legal Notices and Important InformationEmployment will require a criminal background check in accordance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act.
