Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Telemetry

SCHEDULE
12-hour days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday
Working July 4th is required

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

REQUIREMENTS
- MA RN License
- BLS (ARC or AHA)
- 3 years prior experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
- Telemetry and Meditech experience required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring vital signs and patient status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility protocols.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members as needed.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Telemetry test is required on the first day of orientation.
- Floating to similar units may be required.
